Digital Alliance Meeting

The last meeting of Digital Alliance was held on Wednesday 27th at the Clayton Park Conference Centre.

At the meeting Pat Broster (Groundwork, Birkenhead) presented details of a new initiative that has just been launched regarding tendering for the NHS.  The software is FREE and so is the training that will be provided. Digital Alliance has been chosen as one of the first groups to receive training. It is expected that this will start in February 2005. Mervyn Levin, Head of Broadband Content Innovation Digital Content and Publishing Unit at the DTI presented details of the DTI's Knowledge Transfer Networks and how large scale projects (i.e. greater than £0.5m) can be funded by working together with other groups and Universities.
